Our graduates are prepared to generate innovative knowledge and disseminate their findings to drive the scientific and technological development of the country through the integration of teaching, research, and outreach activities.
Specific Objectives
To fulfill this mission, the program is committed to:
- Developing Academic Faculty and Researchers: Preparing highly qualified professionals for careers in health education and scientific research.
- Fostering Research Leadership: Equipping students with the skills necessary to establish and lead new research groups.
- Advancing Scientific Inquiry: Strengthening fields of research focused on morphological alterations, pathogenic mechanisms, immune responses, diagnostics, therapeutics, and disease transmission, with a specialized focus on:
- Infectious and Parasitic Diseases
- Oncology
- Promoting Innovation: Training professionals to implement and lead advanced, innovative practices within their fields.
- Social Impact: Ensuring the effective dissemination of scientific knowledge to benefit society at large.
